Kill Me Baby - Dropped

I'm sorry, I just can't take this anymore. The show has become an utter pain to review. I can't even think of anything to blog about even after I spent quite some time thinking about it. It's just that there's nothing really going on in every episode; there's only random gags that I don't find amusing. I don't think I'm the only one who feels this way. Even though I'm going to stop reviewing this series, I'll continue watching it for a few more episodes to see how bad it's going to get.

Kill Me Baby - Episode 3

This time around, the jokes were slightly more amusing and I did laugh a bit at some of them, unlike in the last two episodes. However, Kill Me Baby has still been disappointing as there were quite a few boring portions. At least this episode delayed my decision to drop it for at least one more week. We'll see how it fares next time around.

Kill Me Baby - Episode 2

Forever alone... in a garbage bin

All right, this episode was better than the first one. However, that isn't saying much since the first episode was quite disappointing. This episode got me to laugh a bit here and there but overall, I felt bored. There were some things which I knew were supposed to be comedic, although they didn't hit home for me. After two episodes, I can say that the chances of me dropping this show on the blog are quite high. It's hard to review the show each and every week if nothing important or noteworthy happens in each episode. The chances of me dropping this show entirely are also there, but just not as high. I'll give this another episode or two and see how things go.

My reaction to hearing the OP for the first time

To be honest, I was quite disappointed with this episode. The artwork was mediocre (though it can be excused since this is a comedy series) and the gags were amusing, at best. I find that it's not a good sign when the first episode already fails to impress a viewer as its job is to set the bar high for the remaining episodes. I'll see how the next couple of episodes fare before deciding if I will drop this or not.

Kill Me Baby - Preview

If I were to rank all the Winter 2011 shows I plan to watch this season, Kill Me Baby (shortened to KMB) would be at the bottom of the list. I'm not expecting much from this series given that it's most likely going to be filled with countless gags. And with J.C. Staff having to handle four new shows this season, I doubt KMB's budget is going to be high. All in all, I'm expecting mediocre comedy coming from this mediocre anime which will provide me with mediocre entertainment. If I do end up dropping it, expect the announcement to me made within the first few weeks of airing. Hopefully, that won't be the case. Now, let's see what KMB has to offer.

Winter 2012

A new year means lots of changes and that is exactly what I have planned for my blog this year. Gone are the days of one-paragraph reviews followed by a wall-of-text summary; they are replaced by short paragraphs of pure reviewing and thoughts. I think this will enable me to pick up more shows and make it easier and more interesting for people to read. I'd like to thank everyone for supporting my blog by just reading it (the increase in pageviews recently has been encouraging) and I hope that this year will be a great one.

I've decided to blog about several shows this season. I may add or remove some depending on my schedule and preferences. For now, the list of shows I plan to watch for the Winter 2012 season are below.
