In Need of Banners

As you can probably tell, my banner making skills (i.e. my Photoshop skills) are horrible. This is where you, the reader, come in. If you think you are creative and skilled in digital art, then I invite you to help me out by creating a banner. Multiple submissions are welcome; there's no deadline or anything so take your time. Thanks in advance.

Requirements
  • Dimensions: 990px by 300px, ~300 dpi
  • Text: Must have "Jeffrey's Anime Blog" somewhere on the banner. Make sure that it's readable
  • Anime character(s) that is/are preferably from a series that I have reviewed
  • Be creative! Don't just grab a random image off the internet and slap some text onto it
