Was this episode rage-inducing? Yes, and very much so. Although it was bound to happen sooner or later, I wasn't prepared for Rea's death. Even as it happened, I had a sliver of hope for her fall to be softened by the hydrangea plants below. Failing that, an injury requiring a visit to the hospital wouldn't have been so bad either. Out of all the possible things that could have happened, her body ends up getting torn up by what looked like a sharp rock or tree branch sticking out of the edge of the cliff. That itself made me wince. What's more, her wounds were censored so I'm starting to shiver at the thought of what it might have looked like (BDs should be the answer to that).
After getting over her "death" (at least she comes back to life, even though she's not "human" anymore), I would now like to direct my rage at the old man. Seriously, this guy gets creepier and creepier each episode. After physically abusing his daughter and taking away her freedom in a fit of rage, he suddenly goes back to his normal (and disgusting) self in the morning, perverted aura included. It's unfortunate that Rea's mother could care less about what happens to her own daughter. Having to live in such a family while exhibiting a forced sense of joy makes me wonder how she managed to survive this long without actually attempting suicide (excluding the elixir incident).
On the bright side, Babu is the cutest zombie cat I've ever seen. The whole chase through the town was really amusing given that Babu didn't really seem like he paid any attention to either Chihiro or Ranko but easily escaped their grasps. Looking at the latter half of the OP, it can be seen the Babu is about five times his normal size. Because of this, I wonder if it'll actually happen in the anime and what will be the cause of it. I assume the elixir has something to do with it.
As for the preview, I'm looking forward to interaction between Chihiro and Zombie Rea. I just hope that Rea keeps her cheerful personality, despite being a zombie, since that is partially what drew me to her character in the first place. Now that Chihiro's wish (to be able to meet with a beautiful zombie girl) has been fulfilled, I'm expecting him to be making some moves soon. I wish him all the best. I can't wait for the next episode!
ReplyDeleteWow… I can’t believe it is already 13 years and overall a month ago. I can’t imagine how serious and romantic was this anime. The author could possibly have done more, because it was possible. I now back then the internet didn’t have enough intentions for the people as again being lack of internet access. These years these types of fantasy and romantic animes started to get famous this late 2020s. I wish author, could have revived the character Sanka Rea and gave it a good ending, it felt like sad and neutral ending… It did felt like a bad or sad ending but i am just saying. He could have done more and cheered up the fans about Sanka and Furuya part. I know the author wanted to cut the manga as s short storyline because of being at the time low interest taking in other words it is reasonable but just saying right now he could actually take the story line in a longer term if he wants to… Because the background and the story line is an absolute horror/Romantic/fantasy.
Like in other words in my opinion it was a fantastic anime. I don’t know if the author could possibly find my message but i know if he sees such a comment or message like this, at least i hope it will wake him up and cheer him up. Because as fans, fans of this anime group could possibly only reveal or voices louder but nothing else could more than that.
DeleteLike for the story line, if i come again and think about it but for the ending or keeping the series longer. Because personally i would love to have longer just like Naruto or one piece… I know it is a lot to ask from him because it was actually so good. For the longer term part…
He could just revived Sanka Era, or could possibly turned their grand father onto zombie because it is an already married man with kids and grand kids.
For the sanka Era, she definitely needs to be revived and start dating with Furuyo, if i remember his name correctly… They could have lived happy life, because this current canon endings feels actually neutral, like romantic anime series are usually end good you know what i mean, from the word romantic i know there was a horror, traumatizing horror parts because of blood and everything or the part heart eating which is sounds creepy but normal. Bur the ending was felt like abnormal and same time neutral like it doesn’t feel right to end that way.
Like saying it felt good, taste of your heart. Like i feel like author like technically gave up from the story line, you know what i mean… Like felt like didn’t gave his all because of probably some of the bad announcements in other words proclamation about the anime series. this might have affected the author’s personal thoughts which is sound absurd and sad.
Like in a simple words of my thoughts … He could possibly have done more than often, like canonically. Like seriously…
Come on! He coukd have relayed on this anime more, because i have seen on some places that people actually came up with an idea of sounding good and debating over the end of the series. I just believe that he could have done more, and more!

I just wanted to see a good romantically ending, it doesn’t have to be all the way horror.
We could have saw this couple have married and had kid, could escaped from their overprotective pedophile father and for the jealous mother where it was looking for just a love from her husband could had, start living or forgiven from her mother. Because it felt like the mother actually looked like some love from her daughter at the first season of series, on the animated version.
Like i think some fans actually traumatized from this anime because of the ending, like it just sounds like they want more likely a romantically way like saying that.
they believe that they could possibly wish for a good ending where they get along with each other.
for the Sanka and Furuya in an actually dating relationship, we could have seen more vacation type of places like visiting some good places festivals and more.
At the beach, like this is anime.
You just put your imagination to it, i am not trying force the author about finish the anime finish the anime… Like in a forcefully way just saying he could have done more. Like i actually felt broken, like i felt very disappointed you know what i mean. You gave an uncompleted masterpiece forcing us to feel actually in-love with the anime then giving up from us while we were believing the author/you.
Like it actually felt like the author, stole a piece from my heart 💔…
It is very depressing and traumatizing. Like if the author’s thinking or starts thinking at coming back… Like being honest right now. I think i might say and following my opinion the desire that this anime fan group shares together. I am always ready for it, my heart and everything. Like i’m here to be as 10 out of 10 guy don’t and me like a 5/10 guy here! 😭😔😄.
