Ben-To - Episode 11

Anyone else think this guy looks like a grown-up Satoshi (Ash) from Pokémon?

Episode Rating: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ (5/5)

Things are now about to get serious as the build-up to the final episode begins. With another opponent that is seemingly stronger than Orthrus now in the picture, both Sen and Yō will have to be extra careful in the upcoming clash.

I found the background of the Sawagi twins to be quite interesting. Having witnessed their first bento battle when they were mere kindergarten students (I must say they were really moe back then; even more so than right now), their strength isn't really that surprising. It's good to know that older Kyō still has the mindset of a true Wolf - desiring to be honorable while, at the same time, being able to win battles. It'll be interesting to see whether the two, who are now enemies in the eyes of Sen and Yō, will become allies when they stand face-to-face with the one who defeated them three years ago.

In keeping the suspense, it's understandable why the producers decided to not reveal the identity of this mystery Wolf until the last minute. I wouldn't be surprised if he was related in some way to any of the characters; it'll make it seem less "random" that way. Personally, I have a feeling that he's related to Yō - possibly even being his older brother. If that were the case, drama and conflict would definitely ensue, making the imminent battle that much more interesting. I'm also hoping for the other powerhouse wolves - Wizard and Monarch - to show up for the battle. With the remaining budget going into the final episode, I can only expect the best out of Ben-To.
