Top Row (Left to Right): Takane, Makoto, Haruka, Chihaya, Miki, Asuza Bottom Row (Left to Right): Hibiki, Yukiho, Iori, Yayoi, Ami, Mami |
It's time for a photo shoot! It was nice seeing all the idols dressed up in all kinds of clothes for the viewers to see. Though the musical element wasn't really prominent in this episode, it was enjoyable to watch nonetheless. So far, Miki is still my favorite although each of the other idols impressed me too with their unique personalities. Hoping for some music and dancing sometime in the future. Loving THE iDOLM@STER so it's sad that I'll have to wait another week to watch the next episode.
My Thoughts on the Idols
Not much of a story in this episode too as it was just a photo shoot. Instead of just writing my review, I decided to do something different by posting my thoughts on each of the idols here. Note that they are in no particular order. Enjoy.
Amami Haruka: Your typical "regular girl who dreams of being an idol". Doesn't stand out much and has a positive attitude towards everything.
Kisaragi Chihaya: Seems like a kuudere to me. Quiet and shows very little emotion. We learn through this episode that she has trouble smiling. Singing is her life.
Hagiwara Yukiho: Shy and timid girl who is afraid of males. Innocent and looks very fragile; like she can easily get hurt. Seemingly low self-esteem. Maybe some people find this moe.
Takatsuki Yayoi: The poor but energetic girl. Ceaseless energy and always very cautious about spending money. Oldest sibling in her family but wishes to have an older brother who can look after her.
Miura Azusa: The oldest of the idols. Gives off that gentle and caring older sister-like vibe. A bit of an airhead at times. Perfect hourglass-shaped body which the younger girls envy.
Minase Iori: Ojou-sama type tsundere. Always carries a stuffed rabbit called Charles around. Comes from a rich family and thinks very highly of herself. Typical Rie Kugimiya character.
Kikuchi Makoto: The tomboy who has looks that will cause women to stagger in awe. Desires to become more feminine as she currently has more female fans than male fans.
Futami Ami & Futami Mami: The Futami twins. The two look identical except for the way they tie their hair. Source of most of the show's comedy.
Hoshii Miki: My favorite character. Laid-back and lazy but still manages to achieve what she wants. On top of all that, she has a nice body and a good sense of fashion.
Ganaha Hibiki: The pet lover and fang-tan of the group. Owner of Hamuzou, who frequently appears. Energetic and friendly towards all.
Shijou Takane: The mysterious type of girl. Her way of talking is unique and she doesn't seem to show much emotion. I find her a bit weird.
