TARI TARI - Episode 6

Awkward...

It was really heartwarming to see Wakana slowly coming to terms with her mother's death, thanks to the overwhelming support and advice she received from her father and friends. The death of a loved one is often a difficult event to overcome so by being able to finally accept it with an optimistic outlook (and thanks), rather than let it haunt her with regret, Wakana took a big step forward—both for her own sake and for the sake of Konatsu's choir club. On one hand, a huge burden has just been lifted off her shoulder, allowing her to live life more enjoyably now, while on the other, the choir club has just unlocked the potential within a talented vocalist. True, all this is just an assumption based on the direction the story seems to be going in, but realistically speaking, this should be what happens.

With that being said, it's obvious that the rest of the episodes are not going to be drama-free. In fact, there looks to be some tense moments in the next episode from the preview. And while it fortunately doesn't seem like the drama will solely be focused on Wakana this time around, I'm going to guess it has something to do with the club's vision, which judging by the title, the members are losing sight of.

For a slice-of-life show, TARI TARI does its job fairly well, but unfortunately, the amount of content in each of its episodes seems quite little (as you can tell by my short review)—almost as if a small part of the story, which can normally be covered in a couple of episodes, is being stretched out into a few episodes. I'm hoping for the speed to pick up soon as I feel it'll make the show even more enjoyable.
