Tasogare Otome x Amnesia - Episode 11
This episode could've been a season finale (save for the last bit of the post-ED scene) as it more or less tied up the loose ends and gave a satisfying conclusion to the problem that was introduced early on. The first half of the episode provided a great amount of melancholy and gave the audience some time to reflect on just how close Teiichi and Yūko were, and how painful their inability to interact with each other was. Fortunately, Teiichi was able to find the solution to that problem, allowing Yūko to finally accept herself, including all the memories of her dark past. I think Teiichi's voice actor did a great job in bringing his character's emotions to life, especially during the scene in which he was talking to Shadow Yūko.
With one more episode to go, I had initially thought that the next episode would be some sort of epilogue showing Teiichi and Yūko now that everything has been resolved. However, with that cliffhanger at the end where Yūko's hand becomes translucent for a bit, causing her to be unable to pick up the bell, it doesn't seem like things are going to end well. It is said that ghosts appear because they are burdened by regrets from when they were alive, so with Yūko now seemingly free from all her burdens, does this mean she'll disappear? If this turns out to be the case, it'll end up being a bittersweet (and possibly emotional) episode next week. I personally want Yūko to stay since she and Teiichi make a great couple (disregard the fact that it's human x ghost), but I can't say that's the most realistic ending to use. Regardless of what next week's episode will contain, one thing's for sure: Tasogare Otome x Amnesia has been quite the entertaining series to watch. Similar to what I learned about zombies in Sankarea, this series has taught me that even ghosts can be moe.
Oh, and when Teiichi revealed that Asa was actually his grandmother, I thought to myself, "This is so cliché that it's funny."
