THE iDOLM@STER - Episode 10

Oh, the ideas of teamwork and unity never seem to get old for me. As for the episode itself, it was both realistic and predictable. With competition involved, conspiracies and things of the sort were bound to arise. It was also no surprise that the girls all supported each other and, thanks to their teamwork, ended up coming out on top, in the day's sports competition. Despite the predictability, I still enjoyed watching the episode because Miki won her event it reminded me of the rewards of teamwork (yea, i know that was really cheesy). Moving on, nine new idols showed up in this episode. More on them later. At the end of the day, it was nice seeing 765PRO winning it all. Yayoi being given the trophy in the group photo was so heartwarming, given the fact that she lost all confidence in herself earlier because one of idols from Shinkan Shoujo decided to be a bully and insult her. When it comes to the previews, I now realize that Miki is always in them for some reason. It's great to see her there but, at the same time, it's a bit frustrating since it makes me expect that she'll play a big role in the next episode. Same thing goes for this episode since Miki shows up lying there listening to music with her headphones. Now, obviously I hope that the next episode will focus on her but, judging from a few of the previous episodes, this probably won't be the case. Nonetheless, still looking forward to more THE iDOLM@STER!

Shinkan Shoujo
I believe this is their first appearance in THE iDOLM@STER, ever. No information regarding them on the Wikipedia article. All I can say is that they are definitely a trio of selfish idols who will do anything, including sabotaging their competition, to win. One of them, named Nozomi, ends up falling in love with Makoto, fully acknowledging the fact that they're both female (lol, yuri).
