THE iDOLM@STER - Episode 20
Episode Rating: ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆ (4/5)
As expected, there was drama, and lots of it, in this episode. Although I felt the whole episode moved a bit too slowly, I do understand that it was done that way to build up emotions in the viewers. The ending was really touching and heartwarming - the way everyone came out to support Chihaya in her greatest time of need really showed how tight of a bond the girls have. What surprised me the most was the strength of Chihaya's voice when she sang by herself in the closing minutes of the episode. She definitely is the most "skilled" (but I wouldn't say "best-sounding") singer out of all the other idols. And now that Chihaya has overcome her trauma, it's time to shift our attention to Kuroi. With Touma slowly getting more and more enraged with his producer, the road ahead for 765 Productions doesn't look as dim anymore. All that's left is for Jupiter to reveal their producer's malicious intentions, which I hope will lead to an epic (and uninterrupted) concert by the girls to end of the anime.
Random Note: I liked how there was no OP for this episode. I think the mood would've been ruined if they did choose to play the OP, regardless of where it is placed.
