Art (7/10)
For me, since I watched the second season right after the first, it took a while for me to get used to the art. Compared to the first season, the colors were had more contrast. That is neither positive or negative since it really depends on one's personal preference. The new artwork didn't take away or add to my experiences when compared to the first season so the score stays the same.
Characters (10/10)
Once again, amazing character development, especially with Hinagiku who got a few episodes dedicated to her. Since she is my favorite Hayate no Gotoku! character, it's not surprising why I rated this category so high. At the end of the first season, I had wanted to see Hina's character being developed more since she only had a few episodes centered around her. Having my wish granted in the second season really made me happy. Aside from Hina, the other characters continued to develop well, including some of the side characters. Like in the first season, the characters are a strong part of this anime.
Sound (9/10)
Just like the first season, great songs were used for the OP and ED. Especially loved the first ED as it is Hina-themed. BGM is virtually all the same. Score does not change.
Story (7/10)
Refer to my review of Hayate no Gotoku! which can be found here.
Overall (8/10)
When I had finally finished watching both seasons of Hayate no Gotoku, I realized that it is one of those anime where you just crave for more. Despite the fact that it is packed with fillers and the story moves slowly, the comedy integrated into each episode is very unique and entertaining. Coupled with the great cast of characters, Hayate no Gotoku!! is a must-watch for anyone looking for a lighthearted comedy with a pinch of romance. With tons of material available, I wouldn't be surprised if a third season were to be released sometime soon. I, for one, won't mind if that day comes quick as I am looking forward to watching more great laughs (and Hina of course <3).
